Welcome to Northcote College

This section is designed to introduce you to Northcote College and the way we do things. The School was founded in 1877 and is the oldest secondary school on the North Shore. Northcote College has a proud tradition of academic excellence. Students at Northcote College are expected to work hard and to always do their very best academically. In addition, we encourage all students to participate in the hugely valuable co-curricular opportunities available through the School. I look forward to getting to know you and encourage you to be involved in your child's progress during their time at Northcote College.

School Motto

The Northcote College motto is UT PROSIM ALIIS.
The Latin can be translated in a number of different ways:

That I may be of service to others
Let me be of service to others
To help others

The motto serves as a reminder to all students that they are part of a school where we work cooperatively and to the best of our abilities.
