Wanted

We have low stock of second hand uniforms. If you have a Northcote College uniform that is no longer needed please consider bringing it down to the School Shop where we will sell it on your behalf. Please contact the School Shop Manager with any queries.

General Information

Cash, cheque, eftpos and credit card(Mastercard/Visa only) facilities are available for your convenience.

All Shop purchases - pay at School Shop.
Classroom Material Fees/School donation - pay at Accounts Office.

Please Note:

New School uniform items are only available from Yarntons, Mokoia Rd, Birkenhead.
Additional uniform items, Sports uniforms, Jazz Band uniforms and 2nd hand uniforms are available from the School Shop.

Instructions for Wearing the Formal Uniform.

When students have an opportunity to wear the formal school uniform which includes the school blazer and tie, you are representing Northcote College at a formal occasion.

Set out below is an outline of what to wear and how to wear it.

Girls
School blazer
School tie
White blouse (buttoned to the neck)
Navy blue school skirt
Black pantyhose
Black school shoes (clean and polished)

Girls, if you have long hair, this must be tied up.
If being photographed in your formal uniform, please ensure your hair is off your face.

Jewellery must be kept to a minimum. One pair of small plain earings and a watch.

Boys
School blazer
School tie
White shirt (buttoned to the neck)
Black dress trousers
Black socks
Black dress shoes (clean and polished)

Boys, if you have long hair, this must be tied up.
If being photographed in your formal uniform, please ensure your hair is off your face.

One small earing stud and a watch only are permitted.

It is our desire to provide you with a blazer that fits well however if you are wearing a blazer which does not fit well, often it is the length of the arms which are too long. If necessary, please fold the sleeves up inwards in order to shorten the length so they don’t appear too long.
