Year 10 Camp - Motutapu Island
The 2013 Year 10 Camp was held from Monday 18th to Friday 22nd February 2013 at the Motutapu Outdoor Education Camp on Motutapu Island.
Outdoor Education is one of the seven key areas of learning in the Health and Physical Education Curriculum. Through participation in this camp, students had the opportunity to further develop personal and social skills, to become active, safe and skilled in the outdoors and to learn to protect and care for the environment.
Students participated in many activities including kayaking, archery, abseiling, orienteering, tramping, team building and leadership.

Year 13 Camp - Shakespeare Park - 2013
The Year 13 camp is scheduled for Wednesday 20 March to Friday 22 March 2013. The aim of this camp is to provide leadership opportunities for Year 13 students and to foster the relationships between students as well as between students and staff. The campsite has only basic services and students are required to take their own tents and cooking equipment. Students not attending camp attend classes at school.

Whanau Camp - Otawhiwhi Marae, Bowentown
The Te Whanau o Te Kakano annual camp was held 26 February to 2 March 2013. This camp provides an opportunity for students, teachers and parents to have four days of team building, goal setting, kapahaka and whanaungatanga activities.
The Tuakana (Y13 students) have the opportunity to enhance their leadership skills by organising their teina (younger students) and running the activities.
