Esther Ige Top Photography Scholar

Former student Esther Ige and her family were guests of the Governor General at Government House in Wellington recently at an award ceremony for gaining the top mark in Photography.

Former student Esther Ige and her family were guests of the Governor General at Government House in Wellington recently at an award ceremony attended by the Prime Minister, Minister of Education and the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Qualifications Authority.

Esther (pictured with her Photography teacher Head of Art, Ms Douglas) excelled in New Zealand Scholarship Photography in 2012 gaining the top mark in New Zealand. This year Northcote College was the only co-educational state secondary school on the North Shore to have achieved at this elite academic level. For more information on Esther and her work visit:
