Dragon Boating | Northcote School

Northcote College have had a team participate in the Dragon Boat Championships for many years.

The team trains on a Dragon Boat at Lake Pupuke which is owned by the club, not by the school.

Entry Information

Where: Killarney Park, Lake Pupuke, Takapuna

When: Sunday 14 March 2021

Distances: 200m, 500m, 2km races

Entry Fee: $990 (GST incl.) per team,

Age: Year 9 - Year 13

Team Size: 23 paddlers, 1 caller and 1 steerer (Level 2)

Divisions: Mixed, Girls & Boys

Season: Term 1 only

Includes singlet, boat hire for training and event entry. Fee is determined each year dependant on entry fee and numbers.
