2020 12GEO wild waitakeres trip

Wild Waitakeres a welcome outing

Some of our Year 12 Geographers braved the windy conditions during the holidays to collect data at Waitakere ranges for their research projects. Students were looking at how vegetation succession is affected based on their location on a slope, and taking into account the soil type, relief and climate. Due to Covid 19 lockdowns the trip had been postponed twice before so it was good to finally get out.
