Permanent, Full-Time Position | 40 Hours per week

We are seeking an exceptional, well organised, people-oriented, Assistant Director of Sport to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. Working 40 hours per week, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development, growth and day-to-day management of our school's vibrant sports programme.

In this position, you will work closely with the Director of Sport and sports Co-ordinators to oversee a wide range of sporting codes, manage seasonal transitions and cultivate a culture of excellence, participation and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilites:

  • Leadership & Strategy: Support the Director of Sport in long-term planning, budgeting and the overall vision of the school’s sports department.

  • Programme Administration: Oversee the administration for a diverse range of sports codes, including registrations, tournament entries, fixtures and transport.

  • Events & Exchanges: Support the planning, logistics and delivery of annual school sporting events, inter-school exchanges and the annual Sports Prizegiving.

  • Communication: Act as a key sports department point of contact, communicating effectively with students, families, coaches, regional sports bodies and the wider community.

  • Strong digital literacy, with proven experience managing administrative databases and sports communications.

  • An ability to work in a fast paced office, managing multiple tasks, with short turn arounds.
     

Previous experience in a sports organisation or in a school’s sports department is an advantage.
