School Counsellor - Ref: 1HAnuX

Fulltime, permanent position, commencing 11 August 2025.

We seek a trained and qualified school counsellor. Ideally the candidate will have either full or provisional NZAC membership. We also invite applications from qualified professionals who are registered with a professional body and who have experience and interest in working with young people. The successful candidate will be a dedicated professional with adaptive expertise and experience to support student safety, wellbeing and achievement. The school values positive relationships and restorative practices. 

For registered teachers, the terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the Secondary Teachers Collective. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,329 to $103,086, depending on the applicant’s qualifications and experience.
