Fulltime, permanent position, commencing 20 April 2026. We seek a trained and qualified school counsellor. Ideally the candidate will have either full or provisional NZAC membership and have experience and interest in working with young people. The successful candidate will be a dedicated professional with adaptive expertise and experience to support student safety, wellbeing and achievement. The school values positive relationships and restorative practices.
For registered teachers, the terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the Secondary Teachers Collective. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $62,862 to $105,686 depending on the applicant’s qualifications and experience. For non-registered teachers we offer competitive rates and conditions, including school holiday flexibility.
