Job Description

Northcote College is seeking a registered nurse with a current New Zealand practising certificate to join our team.

This is a permanent position, working 10am to 2pm Monday to Friday, school term time only, working alongside our existing nurses.

The successful applicant will enjoy working with young people and be committed to the promotion of youth health and wellbeing. Previous experience in youth health would be advantageous, particularly in the areas of sexual health, mental wellbeing and general accident and emergency care.

An ability to communicate effectively with young people in a non-judgemental, caring manner is essential, along with sound IT skills and an understanding of the importance of accurate documentation. The successful applicant needs to be able to work autonomously within a supportive school setting.
