Year 10 Camp
Motutapu Outdoor Education Camp, Motutapu Island
Outdoor Education is one of the seven key areas of learning in the Health and Physical Education Curriculum. Through participation in this camp, students have the opportunity to further develop personal and social skills, to become active, safe and skilled in the outdoors and to learn to protect and care for the environment.
Camp information is available to print below.
Year 10 Camp 2018 Postponed
Motutapu Island and the Outdoor Education Camp were severely damaged during Cyclone Debbie in 2017. They have made significant progress to fix their buildings and infrastructure but unfortunately their fire systems need to be fully rebuilt. This has resulted in a delay in reopening the camp. We were informed in December that regretfully they have had to cancel our booking. We are liaising with the camp to secure an alternative date in Term 2 or 3.
