NCEA, is New Zealand’s national secondary qualification. Northcote College offers NCEA at Levels 1 and 2 and 3 in years 11, 12 and 13.

Outdoor Education is one of the seven key areas of learning in the Health and Physical Education Curriculum.
Study abroad a range of subjects for as long as possible to allow more choices beyond school.
Pathways Day runs in term 3 each year to help students access information they need to select courses.

Log Your Volunteer Hours
Many students volunteer their time to help others - sometimes in an activity related to school, sometimes outside of school.
If you register on the SVA Award website you can log the hours your spend helping others and earn Bronze, Silver and Gold badges. These awards also can be added to your cv under community involvement.
Ms Russell is the in-school contact so she sees all the hours logged by each student and passes on the badges from SVA.
