2023 english writing comp winners

Writing competition winners announced

We’re super-proud of all the deserving winners in the 2023 annual Northcote College English Department Writing Competition. Students in each year level submit their entries, and teachers select two or three finalists per class. The shortlisted entries are judged anonymously by senior and former students.

This year’s entries and winners have again shown the breadth of writing talent at our school.

Former students Taylor Malmo and Ella Crooks – who judged this year’s Year 11 and 12 awards – had this to say:

‘A huge congratulations to everyone who entered. Ella and I were both thoroughly impressed, and want to say that we're incredibly proud of all those who submitted work, we can't wait to see what they do next!’
