2022 Dux - Leo van der Vegte

Congratulations to Northcote College Dux for 2022 – Leo van der Vegte.

A Dux is the top academic student in a school so being awarded the title of Dux means that your achievement has been exceptional. That is certainly true of this year’s recipient.      

For the past two years Leo has received straight Excellences – an impressive grade point average indeed. He was awarded overall Excellence endorsements in Level 1 and 2.

In 2021 he gained an Excellence Endorsement in 5 out of 6 of his subjects. And in 2020 he gained Excellence endorsements in 4 out of 6 subjects and one Merit subject endorsement.

At this week’s Senior Prizegiving Leo received awards in: Calculus, Physics, Biology and Creative and Innovative Technologies.
