Students shine at Showquest 2025

Northcote students shone brightly at Showquest 2025!

Lily Clendon was awarded the special prize Whetū Rangatira – Star of the Show, while our fierce student leaders Caitlin King and Annabel Barlow took home the Student Leadership award.

The group also received recognition in both Dance and Drama.

This incredible outcome was made possible by the passion, dedication, and laser-like focus of our student leaders: Caitlin King, Annabel Barlow, Miela Stantiall, and Pann Thaung, who committed early mornings and after-school hours to lead and support their peers.

Special mention to our real life tech wizard, Arthur Sian for taking our show to the next level with his expert lighting design. On the night he had to improvise on the spot but didn’t miss a beat. 

The students absolutely loved the experience, and even after a long day, many were asking if they could stay longer! 

Congratulations to all the students involved – who truly embodied the Northcote spirit of leadership, creativity, and whanaungatanga. 

And last but certainly not least, a massive thank you to our dedicated staff Camila Cortes, Kaylee Morrison, Greer Ritchie, and Liam Hughes. Your unwavering support, commitment, and willingness to go above and beyond for our students never goes unnoticed.
