Another mighty season for 1st XI Boys Football
After their double promotion season last year the team returned to Auckland's A1 league for the second time – and have had another great season.
The team had only one player back from last year’s starting XI – so it was important for team confidence to do well in their first game of the league season against the Macleans College 1st XI.
The team scored a brilliant but unexpected 3-1 win in the game – played under lights on a Friday night on the Macleans astroturf.
Their victory set the scene for many other fine performances, exciting games, and another 5 wins. A historic 3-2 win away at Rangitoto College saw the team finish the A1 league in 3rd place (of 8 teams), 2nd highest in league position of all the North Shore schools and 11th of all Auckland schools.
What a great season!
