Vandal the Shore's New Found Sound

Congratulations to Vandal – who have won best Band/Group in the Raise Up New Found Sound North Shore Regionals over the weekend! It’s music to our ears (sorry, couldn’t resist!).

Alternative metal band Vandal  impressed the judges with their original song ‘Scruff’, written by band members Luka Petreski and Sienna Fitzgerald.

Vandal are, from left, Seb Baarspul, Luka Petreski, Albie Larsen, Samuel King, Sienna Fitzgerald – all in Year 10.

They’re now heading to the national finals at The Tuning Fork, on Saturday 6 September.

‘We’re looking forward to the finals,’ says Luka, ‘and are hoping we win!’
