French sojourn a great adventure

Highlights from the Northcote College France Exchange!

From Lyon to Paris, some of our French language students have had the ultimate French adventure over the term break.

In Lyon, the students spent time attending classes with buddies at Lycée Blaise Pascal, baking fresh macarons, exploring ancient Roman ruins, and navigating the historic traboules (tunnels) of La Croix-Rousse.

Then it was off on the TGV to Paris – where we took in the views from the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe, cruised down the Seine, marvelled at Versailles, saw the Mona Lisa at the Louvre, and explored Montmartre — and fuelled up on delicious crêpes!

Huge thanks to our host families, local guides, and staff for making this trip one to remember.
