2026 Senior Sports Awards
Congratulations to all the incredible students recognised for their sporting successes at last night’s Northcote College Senior Sports Awards.
The evening was a warm celebration of sports at Northcote College. We honoured the students who’ve put in the hard work in team and individual pursuits. A huge thank you to everyone who makes sport at Northcote College possible – our coaches, managers, Teachers in Charge, and our hard-working Sports Department staff.
The night concluded with our highest honours – the presentation of our supreme awards for 2026, recognizing outstanding sporting achievement:
Elizabeth Lavemaau – Victrix Ludorum | Sportswoman of the Year
Brayden Fitzgerald – Victor Ludorum | Sportsman of the Year
Our sincere gratitude to guest speaker Filda Vui, Silver Ferns and Northern Mystics netballer, for sharing her relatable and inspiring story. Thanks also to MC Charles Wallace, Deputy Head Students Waihuia Thein and Sam Strudwick for their fabulous speeches, announcers Paul Hewson and Brittany McMurtrie, presenters Leanne Barlow, Viliami Puliuvea, and Sophie Lindfield, and to everyone else who worked hard behind the scenes to create such a successful event.
