Senior student return to school

We are looking forward to welcome our senior students back at Northcote College next week. From Tuesday 26 October Year 11, 12, and 13 students may return to school for face-to-face learning. Emails have been sent to all senior students and their parents or caregivers with the full details.

We will all be following all the public health measures that are required to keep everyone onsite (and their whānau) as safe as possible and any student who is not following the required protocols will be sent home.

This means:

  • Anyone who is unwell must stay at home
  • Anyone who has had contact with someone with Covid-19 must stay home.
  • Face masks are compulsory indoors and outdoors all day including on the way to and from school on public and school transport.
  • A one metre distance must be maintained at school where possible. This means no touching other people (including no hugs, no high fives, no hongi and no handshakes).
  • Hand hygiene and cough and sneeze etiquette must be followed.
  • Classrooms will be well ventilated.

Year 9 and 10 students will continue with online learning.
