Haere rā Year 13 Leavers
Year 13 Leavers Parade
The Class of 2026 celebrated their last day of high school today with our traditional Leavers Parade and one last informal group photo at the school gates. They’re now on study leave preparing for their final exams.
You’ve been a wonderful cohort and we wish you well in your upcoming exams, and in whatever further studies and careers you go on to in the years to come. We’re looking forward to hearing all about what you do next, and in the years to come.
Stirring haka
A truly special highlight from this morning’s Leavers Parade—a powerful haka performed by whānau class students to farewell our Year 13s.
It was a beautiful tribute to close friends and classmates that truly embodied the spirit and values of Northcote College.
It’s not a parade without music!
Northcote rock group Vandal added to the fabulous vibe with live music accompanying the Leavers Parade – and younger students lined the parade route.
Final photo
After our Year 13s paraded through our main gate – it was time for their final group photo, and emotional ‘goodbye-for-nows’ to teachers and classmates. We are also holding a Leavers Event on Friday 4 December.
Haere rā Class of 2026. Its been a great five years and we wish you all the best!
