International students enjoy week of special activities
It’s been a whirlwind week of special activities for those International students who aren’t taking part in senior exams.
Activities have included:
- friendly sports competitions – table tennis, volleyball, and netball
- learning traditional Māori raranga (flax weaving) – making flowers and stars
- cooking up a traditional roast dinner – featuring New Zealand’s famous lamb – and, of course eating the delicious meal they’d cooked
- a day trip to nearby Devonport village and Maungauika North Head
