Sensational Old Girls and Old Boys football matches

The weather turned on a summer stunner for the annual Old Girls v 1st XI Girls and Old Boys vs 1st XI Boys football matches on Saturday.

Old Girls vs. 1st XI Girls

Kicked off at 10:00 am. The Old Girls won 5-0 (4-0). It was a much more even game than the score indicated. A very young 1st XI, missing several regular starters, acquitted themselves very well against formidable opponents, including White Fern Sarah Morton.

The difference between the two teams was the lethal punch up front provided by Old Girls Cynthia Saijaipadoi and Charlotte Lewis who scored 3 and 2 goals respectively. Other strong performers were Kata Jackson, Dani Anderson and Ji-Eun Lee.

For the 1st XI Christina Sieberhagen (10HGS) and Maddie McAsey (11WHN) were outstanding, while Anna Leslie (10HRG), Kate Brewster (10KAY), Danielle Van Geloof (9NA) and Mia Parthesius (11AMS) also played well.
