Student tackled challenges at Mathex

Eight Northcote College students competed in the annual Mathex Competition at the Barfoot and Thompson Stadium recently.

We competed against over 40 schools and our students had lots of fun, racing against time to solve a series of Maths problems. Students have 30 minutes to answer up to 20 questions, with each team's runner having to run a circuit of about 100 metres to submit each answer.
