Students ¡Viva España! on tour of Spain

It’s been an absolute hive of activity at Northcote College recently – including the term break, when 17 Spanish Language students travelled to Spain!

The group visited Madrid, Seville and Granada – taking in the sights, experiencing local culture, and immersing themselves in the Spanish language.

The trip was an incredible success and that is entirely thanks to our students. From the very start, they embraced this adventure with enthusiasm and made the most of every moment.

In Seville, our students spent 7 days living with host families. This was a major highlight as it allowed them to fully test their Spanish skills and truly immerse themselves in the daily Spanish routine. We are incredibly proud of their positivity, curiosity, and commitment, and the remarkable way they handled every challenge.

Our students showed genuine interest in the rich history of the places we visited, asking thoughtful questions and engaging deeply with their surroundings.

This trip was more than just a travel experience; it was a chance for our students to learn more about the world and about themselves. We hope it has helped spark ideas about their future goals and the people they want to become.

It was an unforgettable experience for all of us.
