Year 13 camp a trip to remember
SOGGY TENTS DIDN’T DAMPEN SPIRITS
At the Year 13 Camp last week our students proved that ‘adversity’ is just another word for ‘great stories’.
From setting up tents in the rain, through the laughs on discovering holes and flooded floors and some creative waterproofing solutions (thanks teachers!), to camp stove meals that ranged from delicious to disastrous … it was a trip to remember.
Tents may have leaked, but the spirits definitely didn't!
We packed a lot in before the trip was cut short by the weather. Between the beach swims, paddleboarding, and raft building, we created great memories. But honestly? That stunning sunset made every soggy sock worth it.
