Young geographers at Tongariro National Park
Year 12 Geography students recently left their normal classroom behind and headed to the spectacular landscapes of Tongariro National Park!
Over three days and two nights, they were hard at work on the ground, collecting vital data and experiencing geographic processes firsthand. This practical fieldwork was a massive step toward completing two major NCEA Level 2 Achievement Standards – conducting guided geographic research, and natural landscapes.
A huge well done to all the students for their hard work, and a big thank you to the staff who made it happen.
